We've heard people say, "You are going to eat those words." It may sound like a mere phrase to us, but in reality we do eat our words. What we say not only affects others, but it also affects us. Have you ever said something that you wished you could take back? Sometimes it's too late and a person's life has been devastated because of something someone said about them. That's the reason it's so important to be careful of what we say, to whom, how much and when. Gossip can simply destroy a person's life. Power is in the tongue and this little body part can inspire, uplift, motivate and do good things or it can destroy lives. Always get the facts before assuming anything about someone and why they do what they do or make the decisions they make which have nothing to do with you. First of all it's none of anyone's business what a person does or the decisions they make. Whether it's how they raise their kids, who they choose to marry, who they vote for, what church they go to, business decisions they make, and the list goes on and on. After all who wants to be responsible for someone's tragedy because we said something to someone else about that person or breached a confidence? Like Joyce always says."keep it zipped!" The less you say the better! Especially when it's about someone else! Perfect example of when to use 'DUCT' tape! We've all made mistakes and I'll be the first one to admit it! Sometimes we have to eat a little crow with our cake! I'd rather take the cake! Gluten Free chocolate please! :D Check out Joyce Meyer's new book and CD series - The Power Of Words, What You Say Can Make All The Difference! Bon appetit!
