If we want to change our lives and encourage others to change theirs, we must change our thoughts and our words, which come out of what we are thinking and meditating on!
Sometimes things happen that we do not understand....so we surrender to doing it all ourselves and choose to follow God's plan instead, even when we are not sure why? It doesn't make sense to us. We trust and rely on Him to know what's best for our lives and to bring us the right opportunities, the right people at the right time. Keep believing His promises!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3:5-6
Study the word of God every day. Meditate on it and ask God to give you wisdom and help you understand his word and his plan for your life. Make a commitment to start reading your Bible from start to finish and do it every single day. If you feel it's too overwhelming and you don't have time, decide to make the time for God! He will bless you for it! Just read one chapter a day. The beginning may be tough to get through at first for some.
As you learn and grow in the word your life will start changing in very positive ways and most of all you will become an encouragement to others and lead more people into this kingdom which is our true mission as Christians. Keep praying, seeking and believing in God's favor! You are a child of the most HIGH God and He wants to see you do well.
I'm praying that God's unmerited favor will fall upon every interaction you have every day and that He will put the right people in your path at the right time and at the right place. I pray that gratitude will overtake you as you ponder all the many blessings God has given you, has prepared for you and put into place at His perfect time.
Print out and read these scriptures below for success every day after your praise/prayers and devotions. (I read Joyce Meyer's ?Battlefield of the Mind' devotional every day and have for years. Just start over to the beginning when finished. I've also read Joel Osteen's "It's Your Time' book and devotional).

God is able to do more than you could ever ask or imagine! But notice that this verse says it's according to the power that is at work WITHIN you. How does God's power work within you? God's power works in you when you are walking in love.
God's power is at work in you when you choose to forgive those who have wronged you. God's power is at work in you when you worship Him with a humble heart.
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. He is at work in you when you are serving others by putting their needs above your own. Remember, God wants to move on your behalf. He loves to bless you!
Choose today to let God's power work in and through you. As you allow Him to work in your life, He promises blessing beyond your wildest dreams! When you BELIEVE He will do immeasurably more than you can ask or imagine!
Gods promise: "You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You." Isaiah 26:3
