Individual Sessions
Individual Sessions

Individual sessions are offered for those women who are interested in having one-on-one time with Kathryn.  Individual sessions are designed with your particular needs in mind as you and Kathryn will decide together what the best course of action is for you. Most clients are interested in longer term work which includes a deep understanding of the cause (and thereby the healing path) that brings you in.

As of 2020, all individual sessions are held remotely; phone, WhatsApp, Zoom and FaceTime are offered. Surprisingly, we have found that remote sessions provide every bit the intimacy and connection than an office provided. In addition, clients have appreciated not having the travel time and stress to and from sessions!

The cost for an individual session is $100.00 which can be paid by PayPal or a check sent to the mailing address.  If finances are a concern, there are reduced price slots available at times so please contact Kathryn directly.  Kathryn is no longer on insurance panels and does not accept insurance payments but is happy to provide a receipt if you can submit claims and be reimbursed by your carrier.

"Is it time to honor your grief, or maybe your joy?  Kathryn is gifted at honoring all the facets of life, using ritual and ceremony, to ease the hurt, or to enhance the wonder and joy.  Invite her to journey with you as a partner in tending to your soul".  MJ

Groups
Groups

East Wind Ceremonies has been sponsoring Women’s groups for many years.  We call these groups “Circles” because it symbolizes the coming together of women in trust and friendship. Being in a Circle gives one the opportunity to learn from the wisdom of other women and also to see what personal triggers can be identified and worked with. Belonging to a group of like-spirited women is balm for the wound of isolation in our current world.

Currently Kathryn facilitates a SoulCollage© Circle for Clergy women and this is a closed group, which means people have committed to stay with the Circle for the year and there are not current openings for new members. The women in this Circle are on the cutting edge of transitioning worn out ideas about the church into vibrant and alive places for everyone to grow. We find that everyone’s life is enhanced when women work together to create better individual and collective lives.

“Working with Kathryn over the years has been a lifeline.  Her insights, knowledge and guidance has helped me discover parts of myself, heal old wounds, and learn to live in the moment. The circles she leads are safe places where women of all walks of life can join together to share heartbreak and healing” JF

Sunday Circles
Sunday Circles

A small group of women meet every Sunday night from 5-6:30pm and we discuss a different book each month. These are not ordinary book groups because we choose a wide variety of books that will stretch our growth emotionally and spiritually. We will often use poetry and writing exercises to take what the author is suggesting and make it real to our lives. Examples of books we have recently read;

  • The Wild Edge of Sorrow by Frances Weller,
  • The Book of Forgiving by Desmond and MPHO Tutu,
  • The Rumi Prescription by Melody Moezzi,
  • Dusk, Night, Dawn by Anne Lamott
  • Why Bother by Jennifer Louden,
  • Fierce Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff, PhD

New people can join the Sunday evening group at the beginning of each month. We are limited to 11 women and meet together on Zoom. The cost for each month is $50.00

Lastly, there is a monthly Circle that meets on Sunday mornings from 10-1pm once each month starting in September. People who are interested in this Circle commit for a year so that deep trust can be created. This Circle also includes a book worthy of study for the year, journaling exercises and a specific time each gathering to do creative expression of some sort. Some women make SoulCollage© cards, some write, others make an art journal that reflects their year. The opportunity to put what we are learning and experiencing into some sort of art form has been a powerful way to make our growth grounded and witnessed. Books we have used for this Circle recently:

  • Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarrisa Pinkola Estes,
  • Cassandra Speaks by Elizabeth Lesser
  • Belonging, Remembering Ourselves Home by Toko-pa Turner
  • The Second Half of Life by Angeles Arrien

The cost for this Circle is $115.00 each month. In addition to the 3 hour Circle each month, you will have an hour long session with Kathryn. Many women have found that this combination of individual and group work to be the most powerful way of moving forward in their lives.
